It was a lovely day at Ubud when we met and shot Janine and Austin wedding, our awesome and beautiful couple who came pretty far from Canada and chose Ubud as the place to vow their love and commitment for each other. We wish you both the best and stay together till the end.
The richness of Indonesian cultures means we are lucky that we get to experience to shoot different weddings in different Indonesian cultures. Miriam and Farizan went through some Sundanese ceremony which had so many meanings for couples who were going to live a new life as husband and wife. Miriam was very excited for her wedding. People could see her eyes sparkled and her beautiful smile bloomed especially when Farizan was around. Their wedding was held in four days and it was a truly memorable days in 2016.
Love doesn’t come to you in crashing waves or thunderbolts. It dawns on you slowly like a warm winter sunrise, where the promise of summer shines out from within. These series were taken when Nararya and Melisa joined their hands together and committed to be faithful to each other in front of God. What a lovely day it was.
This time, I would like to quote Vierra’s note on her wedding. Souls When two souls fall in love, there is nothing else but yearning to be closed to the other. The presence that is felt to a hand held, a voice heard, or a smile seen. Souls do not have calendars, or clocks, nor do they understand the notion of time or distance. They only know it feels right to be with one another. This is the reason why you miss someone so much when they are not there – even if they are only in the very next room. Bali is a place for love. While we all understood that blue skies, warm sunshine, nice beaches, and spectacular cliffs in Bali will certainly make Bali weddings looking even better, it was always the presence of our loved ones that really mattered. The laughter and the joy they bring was something any couples would love to treasure when the years has passed. So here we are to capture those priceless moments. Both Edwin and Indri are so lovely. Everyone loved them. And it’s a bless to see so much warmth for the whole day. This is one of our most memorable weddings in Summer 2015!
It was a beautiful spring day in Melbourne, sunny, bright and full of life, especially love on the day where I shot Jeremy and Natalia’s wedding. Jeremy and Natalia were such a fun and wonderful couple, since I spent some good times with them during the pre-wedding. Seeing kindness and warmth within their families and friends, such a great love portrayed for Jeremy’s mother, that she wasn’t able to attend and celebrate due to health issue. Although it was such a dismal moment for the groom, their mates were there ready to support and cheered him up and made this day a memorable one. Regardless the bittersweet moment, I am very grateful that I can be a part of their beautiful day. These were the unforgettable moments!
I knew Paula since we studied in the same high school. But after we graduated about 15 years ago, when everyone went to separate ways and chose their own paths, we barely met or chat. So it’s definitely a pleasant surprise to hear that someone she loves asked her to marry him. And of course, it’s good to see her again especially in her most happiest days. The lucky guy is Rubens. I believe he’s one of few or perhaps the only Brazilian who work at BNI 46 building, the same building where Paula used to work. And the rest was history… The wedding was indeed beautiful because of the family and friends who came, supported and shared the love with Paula and Rubens. I believe their love will last forever, and even more after the birth of their first daughter, Maya.
Since Stacy & Sam live in China, I only got to meet them few days before we flew to Bali. And it’s always exciting to meet a couple for the first time especially since I never saw their pictures before. When I finally met them, I was glad that they’re both among the nicest couple I’ve ever met and it’s a good thing that they’re so in love and looking forward for the wedding. Stacy & Sam did two ceremony during their wedding. The first one was the Catholic holy matrimony and the second one was Balinese ceremony at Stacy’s parents villa at Ubud. I knew Stacy’s parents did a heck of a job preparing the wedding. And everything just turned out beautiful as they would expected. So here’s those happiest days for Stacy & Sam!
