Finding Romance in New York

August 21, 2017 Pre-Wedding Portrait

I keep thinking that it’s you. I know there is a place for the both of us, that if I could swim to the bottom of the ocean or search across the galaxies. How does one’s soul feel connected to another’s the way mine craves the company of yours? I keep hoping we will find place together, some day. Winny and Yovin were highschool sweetheart years ago. Things were never easy for them enduring a long distance relationship since Yovin had work in the U.S. But finally all their prayers were answered, the long wait had come to an end. This was the happy moments they’ve been waiting for years, enjoying romance once again in a city that never sleeps.

Reminiscing Those Old Sweet Days in Perth

Just one day after the New Year’s day in 2016, I packed up my bags to go to Perth alongside Thomas & Gwen. I first knew Thomas and Gwen from his brother’s wedding almost 9 years ago. They were already having a relationship back then. But their story began a long way back before that. 14 years of relationship is a serious number of years for a love relationship. Every couple must have had countless laughter and tears for those period of times. After a few days with them, I felt that all those years they’ve been together was such a precious foundation for their next journey. As partners in life, there was nothing left they can hide from the other. Not even the unspoken things.

Lovely Quiet Days in Singapore

December 14, 2015 Pre-Wedding Portrait

I’ll remember Andrew, because he is my first client who has the same first name as me. It’s a bit weird sometimes when I called him by his name because all these years, it’s always the others who called me with the name Andrew. And it’s also interesting to know another Andrew. But I’m glad to say I really like his personality, I think it’s easy to see why Cindy fell for him. And the same thing goes for Cindy. It was an enjoyable experience together with them in Singapore earlier this year. I was really pleased I could see what made them so fine when they’re together. Another lovely couple who blessed our journey in 2015. And we’ll never forget the Bakut Teh!

When In Italy, Let’s Talk About Romance

November 18, 2015 Pre-Wedding Portrait

We were still in early Fall 2015 when we went for this trip. It was at the beginning of September, where the weather’s nice and many people were really in the mood to go out. The next morning after our night out in Navigli, a famous district in Milan for nightlife, I was a bit curious why they were so many Italian stayed out late on Monday. Ciro, the driver explained to me, in Italy between 9 p.m to about 1 a.m, Italian went out to socialize. It doesn’t matter if it’s weekdays. They called this moovina. And in Italy, their business hour started a bit later in the morning. So there we were, just in the perfect country to relax and chill out. I remembered our first stop on this trip was a bar at Navigli. There were three of us plus Verencia, who did all make up for Jane for this trip. A glass of beer was all we needed to end the afternoon and to officially begin our shoot. When you look at the results, I was hoping I could save time telling story about the photo shoot. Edelix & Jane were simply awesome. They both were very lovely people to be with. I’m so glad we had this adventure together.

Beautiful Engagement Session in New Zealand

October 15, 2015 Pre-Wedding Portrait

20 years ago in 1995, I was about 12 years old when my parents took me to New Zealand for the first time. Honestly, the places and the activities wasn’t my kind cup of tea at the time. As a young boy, I prefered Disneyland or Universal Studio for obvious reasons. But those images of beautiful landscapes in New Zealand never really faded. One day I knew I would return. And that day came when I crossed path with William and Sandra. William really love to go for adventures and Sandra used to live in New Zealand during her high school time. So off we went to New Zealand, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Natalia and I, William and Sandra were on a really fun roadtrip. We drove about 500 km from Queenstown to Christchurch, watched a lot of breathtaking sceneries, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, ate all kind of foods, met an angry hotel owner because we checked in late. Those were an unforgettable experience. We are grateful to know them, share this wonderful journey together, and above all for the friendship.

Adventurous Engagement Shoot in Dubai

February 5, 2015 Pre-Wedding Portrait

After all the ups and downs, and 5 years of long distance relationship, Kenri & Meirika feel this is the time to make a big step in their relationship. I never thought I would visit the middle east or Dubai in particular so soon. But knowing Kenri & Meirika, we knew this trip was gonna be exciting, and it was indeed. As many of you knew it already, the buildings and the streets in Dubai are amazing, and even though I never really like malls, I have to say the malls are really impressive. My only regret perhaps we didn’t make that trip to the police station ; ) I don’t know when I’ll be back, so I guess this one will live in my memory for long time! Cheers guys!
